One of the things I have noticed with chronic illness is that some of us become fearful of trying the things we used to do. Some of us feel, “what if I fail at what I was once really good at? Why even try in the end if I am going to be left feeling like a failure?”
I encourage you today to get rid of that kind of an attitude. Go ahead and plan on something that you gave up on. You may not be able to do it 100% as you once did, but, that is okay.
